The architecture of the HARRY Suite...

Thin Client & Power Client

The WEB architecture is wonderful opportunity to disseminate information and to distribute the decision-making functions to a large number of players and partners. Unlike the Client Server architecture, it means the user is no longer affected by technical environments of client stations and by the training in the use of the products, even applications.

This objective is achieved if the real advantages that the WEB offers us are respected:

- Complete banalization of the operation environment: minimum standards.
- Conformity to the NET navigation and utilization standards.
- Total elimination of the administration or installation of client stations.

HARRYDataWEB offers administrators two modes of deployment:

THINClient

  • Only the application logic is sent to the client station (some dozen KB).
  • The application sticks to the navigation standards; its logic is purely business. It renders futile any training in the use of a product.
  • The languages and protocols used are "low profile"; they are compatible with all the operation environments, servers, firewall and browsers.
  • The intelligence and sophistication of the application is furnished by the development tools and functionalities residing in the server.
  • Development and maintenance is done at minimum cost, thanks to the HARRYPilot and HARRYBuilder tools. They can be largely ensured by the business users.

With HARRYDataWEB in the THINClient version, to give access to all the recipient users, to the information or to rich analysis and reporting functions does not comprise technical constraints but minimizes all the costs. A HARRY application developed by a major bank is intended for 25000 users.

POWERClient

Some users (or certain uses) can require development functionalities that are more generic, thus imparting autonomy and greater capacity.

HARRY offers its products operating in a browser with the interface meant to execute autonomous analysis functions and sophisticated studies.

HARRYPilot for the Web and HARRYCube for the Web thus facilitate ad hoc analysis and multidimensional navigation.
