Deployment & administration system |
HARRYManager is the deployment system from the HARRY range of products. According to the particular environment, it lets the administrator manage users, technical elements, the data warehouse repository, shared dictionaries and application environments, and product versions.
|
 |
The HARRYManager functions |
- HARRYManager assures the storage and distribution functions for the elements necessary for the operation and deployment of the decision-making system.
It is built on the use of SQL and TCP-IP standards.
- HARRYManager distinguishes between three kinds of objects :
- Administered objects : They are guaranteed by the data processing and imposed on everything.
- Referenced objects : Created by authorized users, they are distributed by the manager, without data processing guarantee.
- Private objects : They belong to each user and are unknown to the manager.

 |
The advantages of HARRYManager |
- HARRYManager is built in "push" architecture: The current users never access it but instead receive the elements and objects on their local servers. The distribution is controlled by the administrator machine.
- HARRYManager is not mandatory, nor does it impose the architecture specific to the company. It conforms to the organization and architecture choices.
- HARRYManager authorizes the flows coming from users wanting to share applications or environments.
- HARRYManager facilitates a better understanding of the activity of the decision-making system. The queries can be recorded by the user, consolidated and then analyzed to determine the frequency of use of the columns, certain calculations, groups, current queries, etc.
